Price
8 Pan thematic palette, $20 or $24 with a small magnetic palette with company name and logo. Extremely affordable and worth every single penny and much more! You can also create your own custom palette with shadows marked at $5 individually.
Company Profile
I initially purchased from this brand thru Etsy. Drawn to their unique line of varying products, but of course, more so their eyeshadow palettes, I did a little research on the brand on found that a had an actual website with an entire comprehensive array of products. Purchase Process
I will say that for an Indie brand, I was extremely impressed with the purchase process. From the availability of the tracking information to the expeditious delivery of my items to the secure and well-packaged presentation, I couldn’t help but be happy!
Packaging
First, the brand has the cutest magnetic palettes with a very sleek, minimalistic, yet cute and trendy logo, which is offered with their premade individual single’s palettes. Each shadow is wrapped well and packaged securely, and placed with care in a box appropriate to the size of the order, not too big and not too small in order to prevent breakage.
Marketing
This brand offers a lot of products, however, I believe their exposure and marketing would be more successful if they tapered their offering and honed in the products that are in higher demand, so that a wider customer base may experience the brand’s superior quality and customer service. Sometimes it’s better to offer a more select paired down product variation so that a brand can work on perfecting products that will increase profitability
Comparable Brands
The Indie market is exploding and competition among smaller brands is beginning too intensify. Smaller brands are also giving mainstream brands a run for their money, providing superior products at more affordable prices. Brands like MBA, who have their humble beginnings on Etsy, have a loyal following and offer loyalty and customer support and promote customer satisfaction. Although MBA has their own individual website, they still support true independent brand roots by maintaining their presence on Etsy, the true hub for independent brands.
Pigmentation
Upon initial inspection of the various bundles, it appeared just from a once over that the shadows may lack significant pigmentation, however, my assumptions were extremely erroneous. The pigmentation upon swatching was very consistent, with the shimmer shadows being reflective and the mattes being surprisingly smooth.
Color Payoff
Creating looks using these shadows is such a pleasure to work with and are ready to manipulate. The mattes blend without skipping and play nicely with one another with little to no effort. I cannot speak highly enough about the ease of use our the significant pay off as a result of the integrity of the shadows.
Performance
The overall performance of these shadows is beyond my expectations, especially for the remarkable price point. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and aims for complete customer satisfaction. I sincerely could not be more satisfied or pleased.
