LimeLight By Alcone Announcement www.limelightbyalcone.com/bougiebrie
So, several
months ago, my old friend Ben Warner, connected me with his wonderful
girlfriend Leah Lankford about a possible business opportunity. He had noticed
my website and shared with Leah that I was a makeup connoisseur/enthusiast.
Leah happened to be a Certified Mentor with Limelight By Alcone, a family owned
company operating since 1952, that initially specialized in bringing quality
beauty and skin care products to stage and screen, but through expansion are
now offering these same fantastic products to every day consumers. I was very
apprehensive because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get onboard with just any old
company. Leah contacted me in April/May and I began to do significant research.
I wanted to know everything from the inception of the company, to associated
manufactures, to companies policies and benefits and after careful
consideration I am now a LimeLight by Alcone Beauty Guide in Training. This is
an opportunity for me to continue to do something that I love and I am good at,
while still providing honest and thorough reviews of company products. If you
know me, then you know I don’t mince words, and whether you like or not, I keep
things completely honest and 100% real. I am excited about this new chapter in
my life and I will be sharing information about my launch party tomorrow. If you
are interested in just taking a look at products then please visit

Featured Post & Haul ***Morphe's New Look & Making the Transition***
Clearly over the last several months Morphe Brushes has been making the transition from "Indie" Brand to mainstream makeup mogul. Recently I wrote a very candid review about the 35O & 35O2 palettes from Morphe, which you can find HERE! Most often, when I post a review I also post it on Reddit. When I posted the above linked review in a subreddit that specifically highlights Indie brands, I caught a rash of comments regarding Morphe's status as an Indie Brand. My feelings are that Morphe is attempting to transition to a major cosmetics brand and that their wavering standing as Indie is a topic of interest and discussion on a subreddit. Seems as though many disagree, which is fine, and I am ok with that. What are your feelings about Morphe? What do you consider their status to be regarding mainstream and indie? I would love to know.
