✬✬YOUTUBER OF THE WEEK✬✬MAP BEAUTY✬✬

I haven't been really doing my YouTuber of the week feature, well, mostly because I am lazy, but also because there are tons of smaller YouTubers/Creators that I am really digging lately. My choice this week is Monica from MAP Beauty. Usually, the creators that I pick march to the beat of a different drum (a drum only they can hear, LOL) and Monica is no exception. She is extremely unique and very authentic with a style that is appealing but real and true to her personal beliefs and aesthetic. She has a very dry sense of wit and humor that only pessimistic jackasses like myself can truly appreciate (no shade) but I believe many find her relatable. Check out her latest video below!

✬YOUTUBER OF THE WEEK✬ GEORGIA HARRIS✬

I became with Georgia Harris during one of my many binge watching marathons featuring eyeshadow palette collection. I dug Georgia right away. She is different and definitely marches to the beat of her own drum, which I fully appreciate. She is authentic and unique and doesn't follow the conventional ideas of makeup & beauty. I really started to get into her videos when she began to take her channel in a different direction and began to allow her viewers to see her authentic self. Along with a handful of other mico influencers, she helped open my eyes to the evolution of the Indie brand market, which has helped me develop a more meaningful and unique singles collection. Below is the video that made me click that subscribe button. I suggest you do the same.

✮✮✮YOUTUBER OF THE WEEK✮✮✮ MASKARA CAKES✮✮✮

Meet Maskara Cakes, a mom, a fabulous force to be reckoned with and an average woman sharing her thoughts on makeup. I was introduced to Maskara Cakes through one of my infamous palette collection binges (yeah, I know, I have a problem). I began to follow her on social media and was drawn to two things: her eye looks, and her confidence as a voluptuous woman. I myself am a thicker woman who at one point was ashamed of my body, but when I became involved in the beauty community, that shame began to dissipate because of women like Maskara Cakes. She also wears spectacles, and you know my ass is blind too. I appreciate her personality, her creativity, and her unapologetic nature. Check out her latest video above.

✮✮✮YOUTUBER OF THE WEEK✮✮✮SMOKEY GLOW✮✮✮

Last year I started this series called YouTuber of the Week, but I got a bit overwhelmed and drop the series. Recently my desire to go back to posting a YouTuber of the Week has been renewed by the bad ass micro YouTubers killing the scene like this little lady below. Meet Smokey Glow or Hannah! I really dig this young lady because she is a lot like me. She is a social justice warrior, always down for a just and worthy cause. She is honest, funny, insightful, and witty and generally doesn't care what you think about her (remind you of someone). She's also an "average" woman who loves makeup and is having fun applying it and talking about various topics that are both relatable and important. I feel like if we lived in the same area and I was like 15 - 20 years younger we could be homies. She's really a bad ass, so check her out!

YouTuber of the Week - Nicole Singer

I am desperately trying to become more consistent about my series posts, timing, schedule and just overall productivity. Getting back to my YouTuber of the Week series has been inspired by the many small YouTubers that are kicking ass and taking names. I only use YouTube as a avenue to upload personal videos to share on my website. I am, by no means, attempting to be a YouTube sensation. First off, I can't do anything in terms of editing and I don't have the patience to learn. Yesterday, I was binge watching eyeshadow collection videos, which are my favorite. In case you were wondering, I literally have over 400 eyeshadow palettes, and I always like to see what other people have. I came across the young lady below, Nicole Singer, who had a great personality, and sense of humor to match. Her channel is new and in its infancy, but I think she has increditble potetial. What I found most interesting about Nicole was that she took the time and effort to address Tarte's lack of inclusivity in the creation of their new Shape Tape Foundation. She shows great maturity and practical thinking. Check out one of my favority videos of her below!

YouTuber of the Week ***Lauren Mae Beauty***

I just recently discovered this firey little lady! With bold pink hair, and attitude to boot, Lauren Mae Beauty is a one of a kind personality. What I love about her channel is the variety and compelling content. It's not your average makeup tutorial every time. She creates interesting topics that some might consider a little controversial, but her approach is so genuine it's hard to turn away. I haven't done the YouTuber of the week in some time, mainly because I haven't found anyone that really incited laughter and joy deep in my belly, but Lauren Mae Beauty is definitely worth a click and will keep you full of giggles with helpful information thrown in to create purpose. Below is her most recent video!

YouTuber of the Week - Vintage or Tacky (Cora Alvillar)

Hey there my beautiful bougie babes,

I haven't been doing the YouTuber the week recently because I haven't been moved or inspired by any particular YouTuber and....in walks Vintage or Tacky. Cora's channel, Vintage or Tacky features both beauty and fashion. She does everything from tutorials, to try on's and fashion shows, hauls, product reviews, etc. Her talent and knowledge are impressive, but what really caught my attention was her genuine, but not cocky confidence. I have struggled with my weight for ten years and when I saw Cora trying on swimsuits for larger sized women I was jealous. Yes, jealous! I admit it. She exhibited something I have been desperately seeking for years and she exudes a sort of "boss babe swagger". She is an honest and thorough product reviewer, a fun and outgoing individual, a person who gives practical and functional beauty advice and she is bad to the bone! She has inspired me in a personal way and I deeply appreciate her impact on my life. Please check out her most recent video below!

YouTuber of the Week - Mrs. Melissa M

This week's pick for YouTuber of the Week is the wonderfully inspiring Mrs. Melissa M. Guess how I found her...Just guess....Yep, I was binge watching eyeshadow palette collection videos! You guys know me so well. A couple of things drew me to Mrs. Melissa. First, I noticed during the video that her hands were shaking and I was wondering why. Well, she mentioned about half way through the video that she had both Fibromyalgia & Cerebral Palsy and she apologized if the shaking of her hands made anyone uncomfortable. Immediately, I empathized and understood. If you know me personally, you know are quite familiar with my health history and journey towards a place a peace and acceptance in terms of the issues that I live with. I was so moved by Mrs. Melissa M's desire to make others comfortable, even though she's suffering. I understand that desire as I never want my health issues to be an inconvenience or burden to anyone. This speaks to her humility and willingness to engage in life, in spite of difficulties and setbacks. She is quite funny and she is like me in so many ways....just a regular gal, who loves makeup and wants to share her knowledge with others. She has an amazing sense of humor about herself and life in general and her positivity is infectious. Please check out her most recent video below and definitely show this gem of a woman some love!

YouTuber of the Week - Makeup with Mariela

I have posted a YouTuber of the week for 2 straight weeks. Mostly because of timing and scheduling issues, but also because I have been attempting to focus on "smaller" YouTubers and I was having difficulty picking one. There are so many amazing "smaller" YouTubers out there that deserve love & a definite shout out! This week I picked, Makeup with Mariela. I found Mariela as I was searching for, yes, you guessed it....Eyeshadow Palette Collection Videos!!! Mariela had an impressive collection, but what really drew me to her is that she emphasized the amount of time it took for her to build her collection. A lot of makeup enthusiast, myself included, feel this need to grow our collections quickly, but Mariela said it took 8 years to build her. That tells me a lot about her as a person! I really enjoy that particular collection video but a wide range of her other video. Check out her latest video below!

YouTuber of the Week - Danibo

As always, YouTube is a source of binge entertainment for me. I admit and I am totally not ashamed. During my most recent binge, this past weekend, I encountered a woman that goes by the YouTube handle "Danibo". She is extremely beautiful, very intelligent, and a very thorough individual when it came to explaining anything and everything. I could tell she was a woman of intelligence by her use of the English language and how she referred to different items. It was quite refreshing. She is not a "major" YouTuber, but she is well on her way. She participates in many collaborative efforts amongst smaller YouTubers, which I think shows a great sense of community. I am hoping to participate in some of the challenges she is a part of as a sort of "silent partner". She is bright, witty, and quite endearing. Check Out Her Latest Video Below!

YouTuber of the Week, Stephanie Nicole

I have been meaning to post Stephanie Nicole as my YouTuber of the week for some time now, but it always slipped my mind. When I began blogging, Stephanie Nicole was one of the first YouTubers I deemed credible, reliable, thorough, and knowledgeable. If you wanna know the truth about a product and understand the breakdown of the product concerning quality, weight, brand, etc., subscribe to Stephanie Nicole. I rely on her for honesty, depth, and forwardness. She is exactly what I aspire to be concerning how I review personally and she gives the beauty community so much in terms of her experience and understanding of products. Check out her most recent video below!

YouTuber of the Week - Nobody's Beauty Guru

I love it when I get to see regular, every day women that are passionate about makeup, give objective opinions based on their opinions, instead of pushing promo codes and sponsored videos. That may soon judgmental, but I don't care. I like real women (& men), with a genuine interests in beauty, makeup and skin care, and can consistently be objective, thorough and honest. So, I introduce to you Julie. In her "About" section it simply reads, "1 woman with a passion for makeup. 0 beauty gurus. Follow for simple hauls, tips, and reviews you can actually use." Absolutely refreshing! I related to Julie so much. She isn't an expert or guru or anything like that, but like me she's an expert at what SHE likes and what works for HER! Love it! Check out her most recent video below!

YouTuber of the Week - Courtney's Makeup Corner

I hate to admit this, but I have a serious YouTube binge problem. I have been binge watching YouTube eyeshadow collection & declutter videos for weeks. In the midst of my self-indulgent binge, I came across the coolest woman. Let me introduce you to Courtney's Makeup Corner....This little feisty and lovable lady keeps it absolutely 100! She is as real as real can get, and I love it. There is so much pandering to brands and cosmetics companies, but Courtney is authentic and gives her opinion in a thorough and straightforward way with little bullshit and lots of laughs. Check out her most recent video below!

YouTuber Of the Week - Kimberly Clark

I admit when I was introduced to Kimberly Clark, my prejudice immediately appeared (yes, I said prejudice). Prejudice actually means to pre - judge, which is not ok, but it doesn't make me a bigot. I just have to be honest about my immediate reaction, but Kimberly is EVERYTHING. AND I MEAN, EVERYTHING. She is fierce, talented, pensive, creative, honest, and thorough!!! That is EVERYTHING! I am so in love with Ms. Kimberly and I am thrilled to have her as my YouTuber Of The Week. If you haven't checked out her Anti-Hauls, you should because you will definitely get hooked. Also, check her Listen Up serious - it's fabulous!

YouTuber of the Week - Amy Macedo

This week's YouTuber of the Week is Amy Macedo. I really enjoy Amy and follow her on her Vlog Channel. She seems like a very conservative yet hip and mainstream young lady that has that entrepreneurial spirit that business women need to be successful. Congratulation Amy for all the great success you are enjoying and all the blessing that God has down the road. Check out one of her most recent video below.

YouYuber of the Week - Cassi Miller

While still on my palette collection binge (can you tell I have a serious problem), I found this very interesting young woman named Cassi Miller. I enjoyed her thoroughly and she has an awesome eyeshadow collection. I found her to be refreshingly honest and real! She gave real and compelling opinions about each palette and she kept my attention throughout the video. So, she is the YouTuber of the Week. Check out her most recent video below:

YouTuber of the Week - Chelsea Louder

I love it when I find beautiful gems amongst the youtube hype. Again, yes again, I have been binge watching palette collection videos. Chelsea Louder's channel popped up on screen and I was hooked. This woman is vivacious, authentic, and just REAL. Remember real, people? I was automatically drawn to her and found her assessments of the palettes accurate and fair. My favorite part was that she poured a glass of Moscato during her taping - my kind of girl. I know I am just a humble little beauty blogger, but I know when I see quality, genuine people and I think Ms. Chelsea Louder is worth checking out. Here's her most recent video

YouTuber of the Week - Wahlflower

I stumbled across this little gem of a youtuber by happenstance. I am binge watching eyeshadow collection/declutter videos (like hard-core watching) and "Wahlflower" has recently posted such a video. I enjoyed her enthusiasm and positive outlook and her infectious and genuine personality. She isn't a major youtuber, and I am not a major blog, but sometimes the little guy deserves a little recognition. Check out her most recent video down below!
